The Hairy Helmet Relay results have now been formatted and included in the RunDerby Race Series league tables which means we are at the half way stage with 4 events down and 4 to go. Chris Millett (Team Derby Runner) has added another strong result keeping the lead in the male league table and we have yet another new leader in the female league table, with Pascale Holden (Shelton Striders) leading the way but with some runners who have only completed 3 events chasing closely behind.
There is now an impressive lead by Shelton Striders at the top of the club league tables by nearly 8,000 points with some interesting changes behind them: Derwent Runners have jumped from 5th to 2nd, Team Derby Runner have gone up one place from 4th to 3rd, Belper Harriers have also made a 3 place jump from 7th to 4th and South Derbyshire Road Runners have gone up one place from 6th to 5th. Long Eaton Running Club and Heanor Running Club have both dropped 4 places each going from 2nd to 6th and 3rd to 7th respectively. However, there is still plenty of time left in the race series for many more changes!
